Lilly Pulitzer Holiday Try Ons

Hi everyone!  Today I'm sharing some try ons of recent Lilly Pulitzer dressier items that would be great to wear for the holidays or New Year's Eve!

Levy Dress ($278)
This dress is absolutely gorgeous in person!  If you like fit and flare dresses, this one would be great for you.  The material is very nice and thick, as shown in the close up picture.  However, this means that there is no give, so go with your bigger size if you are in between sizes.  It also has pockets!  I'm 5'7, and the length was good for me, but this dress might be a tad short for taller ladies.

 Dalsey Skirt Set ($268)
This is actually a crop top and skirt set, but as you can see, you can easily wear the set with the two pieces touching so it looks like a dress instead!  Unlike other crop sets where the top piece has stretch, this one has no stretch in any of the pieces.  It is the same material as the above dress, which I didn't realize from the website.  I can sometimes size down in certain items, but that was not the case with this set - I took my normal size in this set (same size as the dress above, also the same size I wear in the Franci dress).  I love that Lilly Pulitzer is offering some options with longer hemlines for tall women or people who just like a longer dress or skirt!

Franci High Collar Dress in blue, gold, and black ($278)
In my opinion, this Franci Dress is exactly the same as the one from last year.  This year, it comes in a beautiful blue, black, or gold.  There's even a girls version of the blue one, for anyone looking to match their daughter!  This dress also has no give, so take that into consideration when choosing a size.  In particular, ladies with larger busts might have issues with the top part being too small, although the adjustable zipper in the front can help give a little extra room.

I'm wearing my normal size in this navy dress with gold accents.  This is a silky dress with a flattering shape!  It's a little different than the normal Lilly Pulitzer dress, but I appreciate the designers trying something outside the box! I took my normal size in this dress.

This Giana Dress is such a pretty coral color!  The fit is flowy in the body, but I did not size down because it would have been too tight across the shoulders.

This isn't the most Christmas-y dress available, but it would be so fun to wear if you are celebrating somewhere tropical!  It's a caftan, so it is really flowy, with lots of fabric.  I tried my normal size, but probably could have sized down.
Woodbury Cardigan ($168), Miriam Silk Top ($178), 33" Malorie High Rise Stretch Trouser ($148)
This winter white and gold outfit is such a fun, fancy option if you would rather wear pants than a skirt or dress.  I took my normal Lilly pants size in these Malorie pants, and they have a nice stretchy feel.  Note the inseam - if you are shorter, you will definitely need to hem these.  This top is gorgeous, although it's a hair see through up close (note how you can see the top of the pants in the second picture.  A nude cami underneath fixes that, though.  This sweater is so festive - it almost looks like gold tinsel up close.  It's very stretchy, and this is my normal size.  A note for those who have sensitive skin: this cardigan was slightly itchy for me, but I have really really sensitive skin.

This black blazer was my favorite piece that I tried on!  It is so versatile, and it would be the perfect addition to a variety of different holiday or other formal outfits.  (Note - I only tried it on over this dress because I didn't have anything else that it would have worked with in the dressing room with me.)  The velour fabric looks fancy, but it is extremely stretchy and comfortable.  This is my normal size.
