Lilly Pulitzer 2/28 New Release Try Ons
Today I'm sharing my pictures and fit reviews of the newest Lilly Pulitzer release! The colors are so gorgeous. They are more pastel - no neons this time. A lot of the new items would be perfect Easter choices! Don't forget that there is a gift with purchase event going on this weekend! Any spend gets a cute lemon key chain, and a $200 spend gets the key chain and an umbrella (pictured above).

This set is absolutely gorgeous! As shown, you could definitely also use the pieces separately, which means that one set can create countless looks. The skirt is a true wrap skirt. For this reason, choose your size based on what number size you normally need in tops. This top zips up the back and has no give. The skirt, on the other hand, is completely adjustable because of the ties. If you are normally different sizes in tops and bottoms, go with your normal top size.
Rory Dress $178
Tall ladies, rejoice! For me, the most exciting thing about this dress is the length! I'm 5'7, and it comes down to mid-knee on me (as shown in the picture). This is very exciting, since a lot of Lilly Pulitzer dresses end up being too short for me. Note, the back of this dress is almost like a racer back with a zip down the middle. I thought this dress had similar fabric to the Kassia dress from past seasons. The fit is also similar for a lot of the dress. I took my normal size, which is also the size I get in the Kassia.
Parigi Maxi Dress $228
I'm not usually a huge fan of pastels, but I loved the soft colors in this Parigi Maxi! This dress comes in letter sizes, not number. I took my usual medium. I'm not a fan of the sleeves on the Parigi - I wish this came in a Sloan Maxi!
Iona Top $108
The Iona top is back and better than ever - it is now machine washable!! For me, that means no more staying away because it's a dry-clean only item. It comes in this and one other print, so far. This is a medium, which is more normal size.
Dawn Top $98
This top also comes in white, which would be a great staple piece. It has a flowy fit. When there's lace at the top in a halter shape, I sometimes have to go up a size because of my broad shoulders. That is not the case with this top. I tried on my usual size (medium), and there was plenty of room. As you can see, the lower half of this top is pretty flowy.
This pullover isn't brand new, but I hadn't tried it on yet. This is so comfy! It's also longer than normal, so it's great to wear with leggings. My normal medium worked, but the arms were a tiny bit tight, so I should probably have tried on the large.
Madison Skort $78
This Madison skort runs just like the others I have. How pretty are these shades of blue and aqua?
Whoever at Lilly Pulitzer came up with the idea to start using a knit fabric for shorts and pants is my favorite employee! These knit Buttercups are seriously so comfortable! Some people size down in the knit shorts, but I stay with my normal size. Buttercups (knit and regular) have a 5" inseam and scallop details at the bottom.
These are the exact same as the Buttercup Knit Shorts, but with a 7" inseam instead of 5". I love that Lilly Pulitzer is introducing another style of shorts with a longer inseam. Take note - this pattern has the potential for terrible print placement, as shown above!
These pants are not part of the newest arrivals, but I had not been able to try them on before. These are the same material as the knit shorts (Callahans, Buttercups, Darci), and also fit the same. I hope they make more Kelly pants that are knit like this - they are so comfortable!
